- ABSTRACT -
Graf von Faber Castell was established in 1993 as a sumptuous brand of Faber Castell.
Graf von Faber Castell has made not only fine writing instruments, but also writing accessories like pen trays and even leather purses and handbags.
Their product lines are well known for the highly selected precious material and sophisticated quailities.
Main product lines include Perfect Pencils, Classic lines, Anello lines, Intuition lines, Magnum lines, Guilloche lines, Tamitio lines, and POTYs.
Classic models I have are not available for now.
The fisrt two are Classic gold and Pernambuco gold models, which were soon discontinued after they first released.
The sterling silver model has not been discontinued yet, but it experienced a modification - the barrel had a serial number in the earliest models.
Classic Platinum is also still available, but what I have is an older type model with guilloche patterned grip.
Anello gold model was also discontinued, so every Classic models I have are not accessible for now.
Intuition black models were also discontinued.
The series had ivory color and terra model with orange color.
I personally requested a Korean artisan to decorate this pen with Korean traditional art "Najeonchilgi."

Guilloche models are still available in various colors, but some of them were discontinued as well.
The Indigo model is one of them, and the Indigo model I have feature gold color nib without rhodium plating.
This nib can only be seen in a few earliest models.
Guilloche all black edition has PVD coated metal parts, and Yozakura model has a lovely pink color.
The two ballpoint pens with ciselé patterns were made for one of the world's best watch manufacturer, Patek Philippe.
They feature gorgeous ciselé patterns with full gold color and the combination of gold & silver colors.
Perfect Pencil is one of the raison ďêter of Graf von Faber Castell.
Motivated from pocket pencil with extender in 1885, Graf von Faber Castell introduced Perfect Pencils in line with its foundation in 1993.
In terms of modifications, Perfect Pencils can be classified into three generations.
The above Deskset comes with the first generation Perfect Pencil.
In fact, the Deskset itself is one of the earliest model judjing from its serial number.
The Deskset consists of a Perfect Pencil and a sharpner made of silver, and 4 additional pencils with erasers.
These refill pencils are no longer available too.
