Faber Castell Ambition all black

Faber Castell's Ambition lines are one of the main products together with E-motion, Grip series, Hexo, Ondoro, etc.
Ambition lines show off slim and modernistic designs, and there are tremendous kinds of varieties in terms of the color and the material.
Materials include things like metal, wood, and resin, and there have continuously appeared limited edition versions with special colors.
As there are so many kinds, I also have some of them.

This model, the all black version, is a limited edition version that was released recently.
As the name says, it is the black color everywhere.

The cap is matt black color.
Black metallic clip, and Faber Castell's logo is inscribed on the cap.
It is said the cap is made of PVD coated stainless steel, but I wonder what element they coated in PVD method.

The barrel is made of brushed black resin.
I thought the barrel was a metal, so I was surprised when I first new that this was a resin.

PVD coated black stainless steel nib.
Faber Castell fountain pens share the same nib design, but sometimes there are nibs with different colors.
Black color nib for this and E-motion pure black, and gold color nib for the neo-slim limited editions.

As a comparison, I also show you the Ambition black model.
This is not a limited version, and it is in fact a very common one.

The barrel part looks identical.

Only the inner circle is filled with black color.

Stainless steel nib.
The signature of Faber Castell nib is the V-shaped embossing.
I wonder whether it has any special function.
