A.W. FABER CASTELL GENTLEMAN SET

Have you heard of the Gentleman fountain pen of Faber Castell?
Gentleman fountain pens were made around 1950.
There are two types of Gentleman fountain pens: one with marble pattern, and the other without marble pattern.

If you have visited the above link, you might have noticed I already have the same set.
Even though the contents are the same, the case is different.
It's funny Faber Castell made various cases for the same content.

This one also contains some additional leaflets.
The first one is the guarantee.
Even though the pen has no sign of Osmia, the guarantee has Osmia's name on it.
It tells Faber Castell empolyed the facilities of Osmia when producing these Gentleman pens.

Also, the instruction manual for the fountain pen is included.
There is the image of mechanical pencil too.

We've seen this several times, so I don't need to spend much time on explaining the pen.
One of the feature of this pen is its clip part.
This part resembles that of Osmia's Progress Supra 293 model, but the clips are a bit different.
To me, this part looks like a Roman helmet.

Nice marble pattern.
The word EF indicates its nib.
This Gentleman shows different types of beauty compared to another marble pattern fountain pen, 36/50 model.

Mechanical pencil has similar design.
Faber Castell called it Automatic druckstift.

I haven't tested it, but I wonder if this is an automatic mechanical pencil.
Since the first automatic mechanical pencil was DS75, released much later, I don't think the possibility is high.
