After the long journey of Brazilian Faber Castell pencils, it'd be meaningful to wrap it up with these special pencils.
Faber Castell has made diverse kinds of anniversary pencils for special occasions.
Some were made for personal events, while most the other pencils celebrated its own anniversaries.

This belongs to the latter case.
As I stated in this post, Faber Castell got its plant in Brazil when it merged with Johann Faber in 1932.

These pencils celebrate 70th birthday of Faber Castell in Brazil.
Due to the reason I described above, I expect the pencils were released in 2002, which coincides with the modern logo of Faber Castell.

One nice point is the territory of Brazil inside the number 70.
"70 anos no Brasil"
"70 years in Brazil"

It's very impressive the branch of Faber Castell celebrates its own birthday with new product.
Since Faber Castell loves to present anniversary pencils as a pencil maker, I affirm it was a very reasonable choice.

Although two pencils might look identical, the two pencils have different features.
One has a plain body without any letterings, while the other has some phrases on it.
First one is the website domain of Faber Castell.
Strangely, it didn't use the domain of Brazilian Faber Castell, but wrote the domain of the international webpage.

The other lettering is on the backside.
"Obrigado por sua visita!"
"Thanks for your visit!"

I guess this special pencil was given to those who visited Brazilian factory of Faber Castell.
Consequently, I believe this pencil is more special than the other one.

As you can see, the other version has a simple plain body.
Still, it's better to observe the texture of wood.
Faber Castell has made very numerous kinds of natural pencils, which is the word I use to refer to pencils without painting on its body, this one is especially made of a nice wood.
As Brazil is one of the most qualitative forested country, it must have used the very high-quality wood to commemorate its own birthday!
