GIANT PENCILS FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS
Faber Castell sometimes uses pencils for its personal or official occasions.
Albeit not many information is known on these pencils, let me introduce some of them.
The first one is this.
"VON DEN GRÜNDLICHEN LEUTEN VON FABER-CASTELL"
"FROM THE THOROUGH PEOPLE OF FABER-CASTELL"
Same lettering on the back side.
For what purpose this pencil was made?
I can only speculate that this pencil was dedicated to some people from the phrase.
This pencil is a bigger version of castell 9000.
Here's another one.
Can you guess what happened in 12th December in 1987?
It is when the marriage of Anton Wolfgang Graf von Faber-Castell Mary von Faber-Castell occurred.
Toni and Mari might be their palaluvs.
There is also a figure of two wedding rings crossing each other.
It is clear that why this pencil was born.

The pencil is little longer than the above one, but thinner.
Here comes the last one.
It looks like the same pencil with the monumental 200th anniversary pencil.
CHRISTKINDLESMARKT NÜRNBERG is one of the oldest and most famous christmas markets in the world.
Again, I can only suppose that this was made to promote the famous market.
There are drawings on the other two sides just like 200th anniversary pencil.
I can spend a happier Christmas with this!
