I always say the more ostentatious the better it looks.
Although the word being ostentatious might have a negative meaning, we should not disregard the effort that was put into to make the showy appearance.
Therefore, wouldn't it be humane to be drawn to such things from time to time?
In that sense, these pencils might look cheapy to some people, but they look best to me.
The pencils are mainly gold or silver colors.
Faber Castell has made several gold and silver pencils like these, and even some meaningful editions like 250th anniversary pencil and royal metal versions.
The distinctive point is these pencils have more patterns with different colors.
Before we dive into the individual pencils, I'd like to mention the logo of Faber Castell is an older one, which clarifies the pencils were made earlier than 1995.
Now, lets take a look at the types of the pencils.
The first version has a silver body, and several horizontal lines in red colors.

Hey, it's quite a cool slogan.
Everything is the field Faber Castell is superior.
The same color combination, but with spotted patterns.
Spotted patterns in green color on the silver color body.
Yellow horizontal stripes on gold color body.
Black dotted patterns on the silver body.
Blue dotted patterns on the gold body.
Black spotted patterns on the gold body.
As we have seen, there are two types of patterns with different pattern colors and two colors for the main color.
So I assume there existed at least 20 versions of pencils.
Even though I couldn't collect all of them, I already have 7 different types, and that's enough for me. :)
