FABER CASTELL FOUNTAIN PEN 54

This is the Faber Castell's 54P fountain pen in pale blue color.
To my surprise, this model and Castello gold model are just like twins!
I could find some very minor differences like the end of the cap, but those two are nearly identical.

Taking my past hypothesis that the design of Castello originated from that of Osmia's 54P fountain pen into account, here I have a strong evidence to support my thoery.
The next question must be their precise relationships.

This seems to be not easy, and the point is the color of the cap.
Some of them have bicolor caps, while the other have monochromatic caps.
My suggestion is, it'd better to focus on the model number.
Osmia's 54P fountain pen is the first, it became Faber Castell's 54P fountain pen later, and it changed into Castello afterwards.

The only thing written on the barrel, 54P.
The blue color looks deep in the photo, but the color is quite pale and even close to the gray color if you really see this.

Faber Castell's name is on the cap.
Castello models have the name "CASTELLO" here.

Hooded nib as Castello fountain pens.
This post dealt with the relationship among Osmia's and Faber Castell's fountain pens, but be prepared to face another conundrum.
