A.W. FABER BOOK FOR 175TH ANNIVERSARY (1936)

Todays post is not for the pen, but it is a book commemorating the 175th anniversary of Faber Castell.
Faber Castell, what was A.W. FABER then, met its 175th birthday in 1936.
The cover of this anniversary book has Faber Castell's famous symbol of two jousting knights.

Although I can't upload all the pages, let me show you some of them.
Now, it's time to see what's inside!

Bleyweis Schneider.
This figure can be seen in many articles of Faber Castell, and it illustrates a workshop for the pencil production.

I'm not sure whether the man is Kaspar Faber, the founder of the Faber Castell, but this figure is often used when describing Kaspar Faber.
It's really impressive and astonishing the history of Faber Castell already met its 9th generation. (Modern Graf von Faber Castell pens come with the signature of Charles Alexander Graf von Faber Castell like this one)

Here's the photo of Lothar von Faber.
Yes, Lothar von Faber we saw in the posts of Polygrade pencil and the 1861 patent leadholder.
He was the topliner in the prosperity of A.W. FABER company.
He expanded the company internationally and acted the trademark protection, after he inherited A.W. FABER in 1839.

This page rather deals with the circumstances of the pencil market at that moment, though.

A.W. FABER BOOK FOR 175TH ANNIVERSARY (1936)

A chronicle of A.W. FABER!
It mainly shows some anniversaries and who managed the company, but one interesting thing is there.
I've been thought 36/50 fountain pen and its series were made in 1936, but this claims it was 1935.
Anyway, this book is the most reliable source, so now I declare the correct answer was 1935.
