MICRO BEATTO MECHANICAL PENCILS PART.1 - LILY & ROSE
마이크로 비아또 샤프 - 백합 & 장미
One lovable point of Micro is its experimental tries.
This series, Beatto, is one of them and its concept is the "fragrance."
Micro once had a similarly fragrant mechanical pencil, Chameleon.
I don't know which one was made first, but Beatto models are more expensive and have more diverse versions.
Since Beatto models were introduced in 1992, I guess Beatto was made earlier than Cameleon model.
It's contained in a red case, saying the mechanical pencil is flowery.
No.12B, and its price was ₩5000.
Made in 1992, the year when Beatto models were first introduced.
The red background makes it hard to read.
Besides its fragrance, the mechanical pencil itself has a very unique design in many aspects.
The clip and the push button are gold plated (I wouldn't think these are real gold plated considering its price, but Micro claims it is gold plated anyway.)
The main color is red, and the mixture of red and gold color exudes Chinese style.
The main feature is a lily printed on the barrel.
Its old age faded all the fragrance, but this pen originally had lily scent when it was made.
Frankly speaking, the design is not my style though - it looks too out of date.
Beatto. MSP-5007.
Flower language : purity.
"Hope pure and pellucid love like a lily."
What did Micro want to express with this design?
The cone part resembles the gourd bottle!
I assume this was intended to represent the vase.
Nobody knows the truth though.
This is a mechanical pencil lead with the flowery fragrance.
It no longer has the scent, however.
Anyway, the idea is amusing.
I have another type, the rose version.
The main color is black and there is a drawing of a rose at the center for now.
Its model number is different, MSP-5006.
Flower language : love
"Hope to give aromatic love to you like a bunch of roses blooming gently."
Better view to see the rose painting.
Black body goes along well with gold parts much better than red body.
When the lead sleeve is out.
