A.W. FABER - OSMIA FOUNTAIN PEN 883 GRAY COLOR
파버카스텔 - 오스미아 만년필 883 회색
It'd be good to compare this with the earlier post of the same 883 model in gray color.
This model is the same model - No.883 fountain pen.
It has a much more pale color than the earlier one, but I'd also call this gray color.
In general, they have the same appearance - it's natural since they are the same models.
Nevertheless, some differences exist at the same time, and this is why I decided to post this.
First, it has A.W.FABER's clip.
The gold clip looks identical, but the letters on it are different.
The gold trim part hasn't changed.
Osmia's trade mark.
I guess this was made in the middle of the era when Faber Castell tried to eliminate the traces of Osmia.
It's very interesting there is no Osmia's name on the barrel.
What exist are A.W. FABER's name and its balance symbol.
I discussed about the various ways Faber Castell put its name on the fountain pens in the latest post, so you can find more about this topic.
The nib is Osmia's nib.
In summary, this pen has Osmia's nib and cap, and A.W. FABER's clip and barrel.
The style is quite similar to model No.993, except for the nib.
