FABER CASTELL BASIC BALLPOINT PENS

Faber Castell's Basic models are literally the basics in the world of pen.
Being one of the representative models, it has diverse variations.
Since Essentio and Basic have similar meanings, I treat both belong to the same group.
In fact, I don't see the difference between the two, and some people call the same model as Basic while the others call it Essentio.

If you ask me, the most intriguing design among Basic lines is the mother-of-pearl model without a second thought.
You can also find other Basic models in this post.
For now, I brought 4 different versions.

The first model is the metal shiny model.
The glossy body is coated with chrome-plating, and the grip is soft.
All the Basic series have the same design, the color and material could be different though.

This model is the leather.
As the name tells, the body is covered with the leather.
I tried to find the information about the leather, but I couldn't get any details about that.
Whether the leather is synthetic must not be a huge matter though.

The backside is stitched to hold the leather.
To me, this view looks really nice.
It feels like the pen is handmade by a craftman.

This one is the carbon model.
I don't know why Faber Castell call this carbon, but it has a checkered pattern like the School+ model I posted last time.

This model is the charcoal version.
It has a dark gray color barrel, and the other parts are black color.
It seems to be made of the plastic.
