PENTEL FOUNTAIN & STYLO DISPOSABLE FOUNTAIN HOLDER
펜텔 파운테인 & 스타일로
How should I call these pens?
I found Pentel call the stylo pen as sketch pen on its website.
Still, I don't know what are sketch pens exactly.
The normal sketch pens don't look like this - as you'll see below, these models have strange nib like part.
The pen on the top is named stylo.
Pentel still makes stylo models, so stylo is not discontinued yet.
However, I have other pens that have a very similar appearance.
They have the name fountain.
Both stylo and fountain have the same model number JM20, and it seems that fountains are discontinued.
So I guess fountains are earlier versions of stylos.
Searching about Pentel's fountains, it is also introduced as disposable fountain pens like Pilot's disposable fountain pens I posted earlier.
Stylo doesn't have its name on the body, and its name is on the clip.
Fountains' most charming point is the patterns on the body.
The pattern is like some gas diffusing throughtout the air, or an ink spreading inside water.
The color follows the ink color of the pen, but the black color has gold color patterns.
Meanwhile, stylo has a plain dark brown body.
There are also white body fountain models, but they don't have this attractive patterns.
They all have very unique type of nib.
It is disposable and adjustable nib, so the feeling of writing would change as you use it more and more.
Also, it is said that two sides of the nib provide different feelings.
Take a look at this lovingly pattern!
Gold color is the best to me.
