Micro's MIT 5000 is nearly identical to MIT 3000.
That is, it plagiarized design of Rotring 500 mechanical pencil as well.
Funny thing is that the case is bigger than that of MIT 3000.
The contents are the same, so there is actually no reason to have a bigger case.
The case again is a paper box with gold letter "Classic".
The components are a mechanical pencil and a lead.
Now, it is written MIT 5000 on the lead case.
The lead case color is also different.
MIT 5000 takes the role of the highest class in MIT series.
Consequently, the mechanical pencil has glorious gold color.
If rotring 500 had gold edition, it would look like this.
As Micro copied the design, the company changed its color.
MIT 3000 for all black color and MIT 5000 for all gold color.
I think both tries were nice as long as the company obtained Rotring's permission.
Micro has nice sense of color, in fact.
MIT is an abbreviation of Micro of illuminant technology.
This mechanical pencil is really illuminant as befits its name!
