In the realm of Faber Castell, there exists a group of pencils called design pencils.
Pencils with specific appearance are commonly called design pencils, but the precise criteria are puzzling.
As the name says, this model has a terrific design.
This can be named as the Grip 2001 pencil all black version.
It has the same triangular body with black rubber dot grip, but it is black everywhere.
Although it might feel simple, I saw people are mostly enchanted by this design.
Hence, it could be a simple change, but a super effective one!
The second pencils are my beloved Faber Castell name pencils.
I'd call them brand name pencils, and in fact this design is one of my favorite!
Have you known that Faber Castell was the beginner of the brand-name pencil?
Faber Castell might also have thought the design was attractive, so this design was reincarnated in 2011 to celebrate its 250th anniversary!
The combination of black and white.
The black front end makes a stark contrast to the white body.
Logos at the end point.
Another type of design pencils!
Again the all black color, but they have a cylindrical body.
Nothing on the barrel.
Being simple is the best.
One distinctive point is the eraser.
Even both the eraser and the connecting part are black!
One sad thing is, all pencils in this post were discontinued.
