APIS 3000A SET - FOUNTAIN PEN, MECHANICAL PENCIL, AND BALLPOINT PEN
아피스 3000A 세트 - 만년필, 샤프, 볼펜
Apis usually made models with 2-digit and 3-digit numbers.
As far as I know, only three models existed for 4-digit model numbers: 3000, 3100, and 3200.
You can read the post of F-3100 model through the link.
This is a set of Apis 3000A pens - fountain pen, mechanical pencil, and ballpoint pen.
The instruction manual and the waaranty card come together.
It's time to delve into the pens!
Unlike 3100 models, which featured horizontal stripe patterns, 3000 models show off chequered patterns like 209 models.
Unlike those models, however, 3000 models have the uniform patterns throughout its whole body.
It is 3000A model to be precise.
It seems 3000N model also existed, though the difference is not clear.
3000 models are believed to be made since 1970s.
One striking feature is its double-sided nib.
At this stage, it becomes clear that this design mimicked Parker's 180 fountain pen, which also had the double-sided nib.
FYI, Apis's F203 model also adopted the double-sided nib.
Parker's 180 fountain pen can make use of two different nib sizes.
For instace, the top part is EF nib while the bottom side is F nib.
I don't know whether this still holds to this model since I haven't used it yet.
The grip is plain without any patterns.
Apis always preferred squeeze type converters.
Mechanical pencil and ballpoint pen have nearly identical designs.
The same chequered patterns on the silver color body.
0.5 mm mechanical pencil & 0.7 m/m ballpoint pen with black ink.
It's funny Apis used two different notations for mm at the same time.
Eraser and ballpoint pen refill.
