MICRO MIT FOUNTAIN PEN - SILKROAD
마이크로 MIT 만년필 - 실크로드
This one was also made under the name of MIT, and its exact name is MIT - Silkroad.
Like many Micro pens, the origin of the name is not clear.
Well, Silk road was a historic symbol, so Micro might have meant the fountain pen had such corresponding meaning.
Or I could simply think the pen has connection to the patterns on the silk clothes.
Whatever the origin of the name is, the fountain pen has a marble patterns over the whole body.
You can also find other color versions like red and blue.
The clip has luxurious bicolor of gold and black colors, and a tag written "MIT SILKROAD" is attached on it.
Top and bottom are plain gold colored parts.
Micro fountain pen is written at the end of the cap with its seahorses trade mark.
You can see the patterns better in this view.
To be honest, the patterns more look like bubbles or some kind of fungus.
Still, the fountain pen is quite adorable.
The nib would have been gold color in original, but it's expected to be lost its color because of the age.
I don't think this was made as a two-tone nib.
Micro fountain pens used cartridges or their own converters.
There are no signs of Micro on the converter, though.
