Apis might not be familiar to most people.
This is no surprise since Apis is a Korean stationery company that does no longer produce pens for now.
However, Apis has a tremendous meaning in the Korean stationery history.

Apis is the first Korean fountain pen maker founded in 1956 in Busan.
I'm going to publish about the company Apis and its history someday, so I wouldn't deal with it much in this post.

To talk about the fountain pen, it has the very classic appearance of a fountain pen.
The main color is black, and the cap and barrel are adorned with gold parts.
One differentiation is it has the matt black color.
Most black fountain pens have glossy body in general.

It has a tag - Apis F 777T.
The letter 'T' seems to stand for the matt color.
The oval shaped cap has gold trims and a gold clip.
It is also written Apis and KS(Korean Standard) mark at the bottom of the cap.

The bumpy black grip is made of plastic, and the nib is a full gold color.
Of course, it is not a real gold nib, just the gold color.
The virtue of Apis is it was a "in-house" nib maker.
Even the nib was made by Apis, and it has Apis's name and its mark.

The converter is Apis's own component.
It uses squeeze type converter, and Apis's logo is drawn at the spuit.
It is also written Apis made in Korea, and use Apis ink.
It seems Apis also made its own ink.
