PENTEL SOPHIA BALLPOINT PEN
펜텔 소피아 볼펜
This is Pentel's Sophia ballpoint pen.
Pentel always creates distinctive functional pens, and this pen is no exception.
It says this is a ballpoint pen with PDA stylus function.
What is PDA?
PDA, Personal Digital Assistant, was first made in 1993 by Apple.
Nowadays, we are not accustomed to the word PDA, since smartphones completely devoured the PDA market.
I don't know when this model was made, but modern smartphones don't work with PDA stylus pen, which makes this quite useless.
By the way, this model was made in Taiwan.
Mine is sky blue color.
Other options are green, pink, silver, and gold colors.
The pen is shorter than usual pens like Pentel's Kerry series.
The metallic sky blue color is really nice, and both the cap and the body have the same colors.
Since the pen is slim and short, it is adequate to carry everywhere.
Pentel's logo in the middle part.
This end point is PDA stylus pen.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my smartphone as I said.
This pen might have been more valuable in the early '00s.
There is a jewel at the end point.
The stylus pen is not that useful, but the pen itself is highly stylish. XD
The color of jewel follows the color of body, so there are also 5 color options.
The shape of the jewel looks like a flower.
The ballpoint pen.
Its size is 0.8mm, which is not that common.
This pen is quite unique and strange in many ways.
