Porsche Design is an independent company that has nothing to do with the familiar Porsche, the automobile company.
Porsche Design was founded in 1972, and has made luxurious goods including pens, electronics, etc. since then.
Porsche Design and Faber Castell are independent companies, but Faber Castell was the license partner until 2010.
As from 2011, Pelikan has been the license partner of Porsche Design.
There are several designs in P3110 lines, but this design, made of gold and silver braiding, is no longer produced since Pelikan has taken charge of Porsche Design.
This model was only produced under the name of Faber Castell.
Inside the black paper case, there is a P3110 fountain pen with a small brochure.
I also have a pamphlet of Porsche Design, which explains its model ranges.
P3110 models come in fountain pen, rollerball pen, ballpoint pen, and mechanical pencil.
In addition to that, they have two types of design.
One is made of stainless steel, and the other is made of both stainless steel and gold thread.

I think this model is the best one among Porsche Design pens.

The cap design is simple.
There is no Faber Castell name, only Porsche Design.
Top part is also simple.
There are three dots at the end, but I don't understand their role.
Are they just for design or do they have any function?
This style is really outstanding.
The gold parts are made of 14K gold, and stainless steels are coated with palladium.
I don't know their prices, but I guess gold versions would be more expensive than the whole stainless steel version.
The nib is 18K gold nib with rhodium coating.
There is no sign of Faber Castell on the nib.
Also, the shape of the nib is quite unusual.
The end point resembles the spade mark.
The converter is that of Faber Castell.
