BASICS OF MICRO MECHANICAL PENCILS - JEDO 1000 / MIT 1500 / OX 1000 & OX 2000

I've posted about many mechanical pencils of Micro, including MIT series, Ox series, and Jedo series, and even its history.
These are the basic mechanical pencils of those models.
This is MIT 1500 mechanical pencil.
MIT series runs from MIT 500, and this 1500 model is its third lineup. (500, 1000, 1500)
It shares the same grip with MIT 1000, but it has aluminium body while MIT 1000 has plasfic body.
Other MIT lines copied other designs like Pentel's graph 1000 and Rotring 500, this design doesn't seem to be a copycat.
On the other hand, this means that the quality is not guaranteed.
In fact, this model failed to gain much popularity so it was discontinued in the early 1990s.
By the way, it comes with the MIT lead.
The mechanical pencil has gray body and black front and back parts.
Next is the Jedo 1000 mechanical pencil.
As you have already noticed, this copied the deaign of Pentel's P205.
It made such a huge success that countlessly many imitations were made in Korea.
Therefore, this design became the most famous mechanical pencil in Korea!
Every Korean knows the name Jedo 1000, even not knowing P205.
The success of Micro's Jedo 1000 was possible thanks to its quality relative to its cheap price.
This one shows a performance matchable to its original P205 model, but its price is less than 1 dollar.
Other imitations aren't comparable to this Jedo 1000, so this was considered to be one of the best mechanical pencils in Korea.
It has so many color variations, but this black color is the most basic model.
MICRO is engraved on the clip with capital letters - this is the only Jedo 1000 I'm talking about.
Micro even copied this part and put its name!
It's surprising that this cheap mechanical pencil even has the cleaner pin.
Its price is only 1/5 of P205 but has everything needed.
The finale is OX series. Let me introduce OX 2000 first.
In many aspects, it just looks like OX 5000 without the lead grade indicator and in silver colors.
Since it doesn't have the lead grade indicator, it has a much longer grip compared to OX 5000 model.
This is OX 1000 mechanical pencil, and this one is smaller than other OX mechanical pencils.
The clip is made of plastic, and the back part is much simpler than others.
Still it has OX's signature grip.
The letters are a bit faded as it was made about 30 years ago.
