Mitsubishi pure malt

Mutilpen is a very versatile tool for note-taking.
When I was a student, I always used various multipens to save times of changing pens.
The power of multipens is surely reside in the availability of diverse colors in a single pen.

Mitsubishi pure malt

The one I finally settled down is this pure malt model of Mitsubishi.
To name its strong points, one must be the fact that it uses Jetstream refills.
Jetstream provides very smooth writing, which is adequate for fast writing with less power.
This also helps to protect the wrist.

Mitsubishi pure malt

I guess it has the name malt since the wood grip was made from the whisky barrel.

Mitsubishi pure malt

This oakwood grip effectively absorbs sweats and provides nonslipping grip.
This is the most charming point of pure malt multipen.
Besides, it has the perfect color combination.

Uni style fit & color5

These are other multipens of Mitsubishi - style fit and multi 5.

The merit of style fit is that one can choose its ink colors.
While most multipens have fixed ink colors of black, red, blue, and green, style fit allows us to select the colors on our own.

Multi 5 is another multipen of Mitsubishi and this one has not many features.
It is the common multipen we know.

Zebra clip on and sarasa

Next things are Zebra's multipens.
I used clip on multipens for many years.
There are many colors, but my favorite was always the silver color.
It has soft grip that relieves fatigue of fingers.
Slim versions are also available, I prefer thicker pens though.

Sarasa is also famous ballpoint pen line of Zebra.
Some people prefer Sarasa to Zetstream, and it's the matter of individual's taste.

Pilot frixion

The last thing is Pilot's Frixion multipen.
Compared to Pilot's Dr.grip multipen, the distinctive point of Frixion series is that the ink is erasable.

The key of erasing mechanism is the heat.
It uses inks that lose its color at high temperature.
As one rubs the eraser, it produces heat by friction and this removes the color of the ink.
I suppose this friction is the origin of the name Frixion.
However, the ink regains its original color at low temperature, so it is not perfectly erased.
