This conception might arise from the one of its emblematic flagship graph 1000.
Those who collect mechanical pencils must go through this pen, so everyone knows its name.
Other than graph 1000, Pentel has made countless valuable and impressive mechanical pencils throughout its history.
Kerry series is one of Pentel's high-quality mechanical pencil lines.
These are well known to pen collectors for sure, but it might be unfamiliar to those who don't collect mechanical pencils.
Kerry mechanical pencils have relatively short body and a cap, which is not usual for mechanical pencils.
The appearance might look like rollerball pen or even fountain pen.
This design was first released in 1971, and it met its 50th anniversary in 2021.
This was made to commemorate its meaningful moment.

It uses 0.5mm leads and made in Japan.
It is inscribed 50th anniversary on the gold clip.
