PARKER DISCONTINUED 88 RIALTO ROLLERBALL GOLD
파커 88 리알토 수성펜 골드
Parker had many lineups, until Parker reorganized its lineups thoroughly in 2007.
Many models were discontinued then, and this model is one of them.
Parker 88 series was released in 1987.
It gained another name Rialto in 1995, so it is called Parker 88 rialto.
I don't know the origin of its name rialto though.
Anyway it used the name rialto until it became discontinued in 2007.
This pen has many diverse colors, and what I have is the gold version.
Except for the top and the bottom parts, the whole body is gold color metals.
A leaflet hung on the clip is the old arrow trade mark of Parker.
Parker now also uses the similar arrow trade mark, but two logos can be distinguished if you watch the feather of the arrow carefully.
The top black plastic part has a pattern of concentric circles.
Parker with old arrow mark.
Parker had used this arrow mark, and then used P shaped arrow mark later, and again another arrow mark for now.
It's interesting to see how a company changes its logo since I can see the history from that.
Rialto.
It tells that this was made later than 1995.
Both cap and the barrel have vertical stripe patterns.
The grip part is again the black color.
The combination of gold and black colors is always thrilled.
If you like this gold version model, you will also love this Graf von Faber Castell's discontinued gold pen.
They have some common things - even both of them were discontinued!
