Perfect pencil whitegold model is maybe the earliest limited edition of Graf von Faber Castell.
It celebrates 240th anniversary of Faber Castell.
It was 2 years ago before the advent of POTYs, and Faber Castell released three types of pens. - perfect pencil whitegold / perfect pencil stainless steel / fountain pen stainless steel.
Some people tend to treat it as the beginning of POTY.
Whitegold edition is only limited to 99 quantities.
Stainless steel editions are limited to 240 quantities for perfect pencil and 1761 quantities for fountain pen.
It is also known as the most expensive pencil in the world.
