Without doubt, the color is green - the color that represents Faber Castell.

This edition has no artificial color. It is the wood itself.
I don't know for what purpose these pencils were produced, but they are quite stylish anyway.
Although the natural wood pencils are common, it doesn't apply to castell 9000 pencils.
