GRAF VON FABER CASTELL SLIM LINES

Here is one of the discontinued model of Graf von Faber Castell.
The above one is pocket propelling pencil and the below one is Slim line.
These two look nearly identical, except for the size.
Since these two resemble each other too much, I decided to post them together.

Let's first cover the Slim line model.
We have seen a similar concept through Neo Slim lines of Faber Castell, and this one has a very high aspect ratio too.
The whole body is coated with palladium, whose unreactive character enhances its wearability.

Graf von Faber Castell's older symbol.
This trade mark had gradiently changed into the one we now see around 2011-2012.
The end of the shining cap is thicker than other parts as most Graf von Faber Castell pen caps.

The brand name is engraved on the cap.

The cone is thinner than the barrel with vertical grooves.
The lead sleeve cannot be retracted.

The end cap be separated and the eraser is inside there.

If I'm not telling you we move on to the next pen, you might not notice it!
This is a pocket propelling pencil and this seems to be still made until these days.

This tiny and cute pen is just 9cm long.
As you can easily guess, this small size is intended for portability.
Some Graf von Faber Castell's notepad and wallet have places to store this pocket pen.

Although it is small, its price is not small amount (of course, being little not necessarily means being cheap.)
The whole body is platinum plated, so it accordingly has a reasonable price.

Unlike the previous one, it has a purely cylindrical cap.
This cap is detachable and can be inserted on the backside.

The space was physically insufficient to write the brand name, which boiled down to a bland top.

This end piece looks like a push button.
You may think you can use this "propelling" pencil by clicking this part.
Well, plausible guess but I'm afraid not.

This model also has an eraser inside the cap.

GRAF VON FABER CASTELL SLIM LINES

To properly use this propelling pencil, one needs to insert the cap on the backside.
After this, now one can twist the cap to eject the lead.

GRAF VON FABER CASTELL SLIM LINES

It doesn't have a lead sleeve.
Things are very similar than the Slim line other than this point.
