APIS FOUNTAIN PEN F-212
아피스 F-212 만년필
Today's pen is again Apis's fountain pen in 2xx series.
This one has the model number 212.
To be precise, it is 212P model, and I guess 'P' means plastic for this case.
It's like Apis uses 'G' for gold colors and 'S' for silver colors.
The pen mainly features the matt black color.
The color combination is analogous to 777T model, but this one has thinner body and the material is also different.
Even though the body has matt black color, it still shines unlike 777T model.
The thickest part of the pen is the middle part, making the pen somewhat convex shaped.
Gold clip and two gold rings at the end of the cap.
APIS is written in white color.
The head of the cap is gold color as well, and the tag tells the model name F 212P along with the Korean Standard mark.
Top view of the cap.
Bottom view of the pen.
The whole body shines very softly.
The part between two gold rings is made of different material, and has a glossy blacl color.
Apis's own squeeze type converter with its name on the pushing part.
The shape of the nib is quite ingenuitive - it has a very narrow nib.
Fountain pen nibs usually don't have this pointed and narrow shapes, but this one has.
Rather, calligraphy pens have this type of nibs in many cases.
I wonder how would it look like when one writes with this pen.
To talk about the grip part, it is made of glossy black plastic, and has vertical grooves around it.
