FABER CASTELL TWIST POCKET PENCIL ORANGE - 2012 REDDOT AWARDS WINNER
파버카스텔 포켓 펜슬 - 2012 레드닷 어워즈 수상
Since I posted a vintage propelling pencil last time, it might be a good moment to introduce this twist pencil.
The working mechanism is quite similar - one needs to rotate the body to eject the lead.
There are two versions - one is this pocket pencil, and the other is the pocket pen.
This series won the 2012 reddot awards, which assures that they have a nice design.
Faber Castell has several reddot awards winners, and I already posted this reddot winner design pencil.
Faber Castell has released diverse pocket pens throughout its history.
I also posted A.W. FABER's pocket pencils, and Graf von Faber Castell also made pocket pens made of platinum.
The front part is made of stainless steel, and the backside is a plastic with vertical stripes.
The plastic part has other color versions, and mine has the orange color.
There is a button on the plastic part, but I haven't figured out its role yet.
When I pushed it, it seemed nothing happened.
I'm not that observant, so I could be wrong.
Faber Castell's modern logo.
This explains how pocket pencil and pocket pen work.
Before I see this, I didn't know that there was an eraser inside the plastic cap.
