A.W. FABER 잉크 트위스트 펜슬
This is a very vintage paper box with the name of A.W. FABER.
What's inside are a ink propelling pencil and its spare leads.
Before I saw this, I've never known that the existence of ink pencil.
It says that ink pencil is not the watercolor pencil, although the exact difference is not clear to me since I'm not an expert on art things.
I've seen several clutch pencils with color leads, and I wonder whether they belong to ink pencils.
Anyway, it introduces itself as an ink pencil, so there must be no doubt about its identity.
There is a small paper insert.
Made in Bavaria, and the sentence "The finest pencil in existence."
The pencil and spare leads are gently lied down on the cotton.
Both feature castell pencil's green color with some blue color parts.
The appearance resembles castell 9000 pencil.
It was made before A.W. FABER adopted its balance trade mark.
"THE FINEST AND BEST"
In fact, I think this was made at the era of castell 9000 pencil's beginning.
As a proof they have the same slogan on the body.
Check the very beginning model of castell 9000 pencil.
This dates back to the late 1900s or early 1910s.
The mechanism is a propelling system like most vintage mechanical pencils.
