A.W. FABER 1800S NO.2 PENCIL WITH FLOWER DECORATION
A.W. FABER 꽃 무늬 1800년대 연필
This pencil looks really awesome to me.
I've been posting several 1800s pencils of A.W. FABER in a row, and I bet this pencil deserves the finale.
It is a round polygrade pencil with no.2 grade, and has the following black color as other no.2 pencils.
The gold letters say "A.W. FABER No.2."
Next to the brand name, there is a flowery decoration.
Was this fashion popular at that era?
I've never seen such pencil before this one, so I was quite surprised when I first found this.
I think this flower pattern is original, not forged by someone else, since there is too big space if the pencil didn't have this flower pattern.
Three types of flowers are drawn, making a nice bouquet.
This one also has a square lead as vintage pencils do.
Until now, I've posted several 1800s pencils of A.W. FABER.
Every one of them contains the very long history.
Despite these pencils might be felt common or not special, I love them all.
