Castell pencils are undisputedly one of the best pencils in the world.
For the history and diverse Castell pencils, please refer to this post.
Even though I new there were several Castell pocket pencils including the one I posted recently, this type of Castell extender was totally new to me.
As the longest-running pencil maker in the world, Faber Castell has created various pencil extenders.
I also posted some of them, and most influential one must be the Perfect Pencil, the apex of the pencil extender.
This Castell extender, as its name entails, has Castell pencils' dark green color.
Furthermore, it has exactly the same imprints on the body as Castell pencils.
The balance symbol and castle logos can also be found.
The back-end of the extender has no coloring.
It doesn't use any mechanism to hold the pencil.
Most A.W. FABER's pencil holders used the movable ring to grab the pencil tight, while this one has a simply narrow entrance which can naturally hold the pencil.
The size is adequate for most common pencils including Castell 9000 pencils for sure.
It was not intended for the other tiny pocket pencils, which is self-evident taking this is a Castell extender, not a pocket pencil, into account.
It becomes a protector when one puts it in the head.
This fashion looks quite good to me!
It hits the style and the safety at a stone!
