MICRO MIT & MARBEL 15000 ROLLERBALL PENS
마이크로 MIT & 마벨 15000 수성펜
Micro has made several high-end product lines.
Most people think about fountain pens when they hear high-end pens.
However, it's not that Micro produced fountain pens from the beginning.
The prestige lines were started with rollerball pens and mechanical pencils, and then later merged with fountain pens.
Therefore, these models doesn't have their own names like Micro's fountain pens.
The above one is MIT 15000.
It is simply called that way since its price is KRW 15000.
If you compare this with MIT Spin, you'll notice that the appearance is the same except for the spinning patterns.
Thus, I assume this model was the predecessor of MIT Spin model.
MIT and two sea horses symbol.
This one has a plain body unlike Micro's Spin models.
Anyway, both belong to the same MIT lines.
I guess Micro added helical patterns to make it more luxurious when Micro started to make fountain pens.
Simple top part.
I like this end point.
Unlike Spin fountain pen, this one has a dinstinctive grip.
I don't know why Spin models don't have this grip design.
This looks much better though.
In some sense, it somehow looks like a hand grenade.
The next is Marbel 15000.
As the name tells, this belongs to Marbel series.
It says that this model was later merged with Micro's Marbel Chamber series.
Again, we see two sea horses facing each other.
Micro used this symbol in its high-end lines.
Nothing special on top.
This one has a nice pattern.
This pattern was also used in Jedo 5000 models.
In fact, these two look quite similar.
It's not seen well, but the grip has vertical stripe patterns.
