PILOT DR.GRIP - FURUFURU MOUSSE SHAKER MECHANICAL PENCIL & 4+1 MULTIPEN
파이롯트 닥터 그립 - 푸루푸루무스 흔들이 샤프 & 4+1 멀티펜
Dr.grip series started as a ballpoint pen and then expanded to mechanical pencils.
The series has a significant meaning as it is the first pen that adopted ths silicon grip - the origin of the name.
I suppose that the name Dr.grip was chosen to emphasize its ergonomic grip.
Among several Dr.grip series, this belong to the Dr.grip CL model.
CL stands for clipless, so the mechanical pencil has no clip part as you can see.
Further, this model name is Dr.grip furufuru mousse.
Furufuru (ふるふる), appears to be the Japanese word related to the shaker function.
Mousse has connection to its color. It is the dessert you know.
As you can see at the bottom right, it is indicated 02.
There are other colors in this furufuru mousse lines, and this one is #02 - café au lait version.
So, the full name is a bit longer: Dr.grip furufuru mousse café au lait.
This was discontinued earlier than 2010.
The backside explains about something in very detail.
Unfortunately, I don't read Japanese so I'm unable to figure it out.
I hope someone to tell me about this.
Looking the pictures, since it is attaching some star shaped stickers, I guess it explains how to decorate it.
It's proper time to illuminate another meaning of CL - clear.
Pilot seems to highlight its clear body and its availability to adorn its body utilizing its transparency.
By the way, what made Pilot to produce clipless mechanical pencil?
The story is quite funny.
Dr.grip model was highly chosen to pen spinning lovers.
Still, there was some carping that the clip is irritating when they spin the pen.
This clipless model was made for those demand.
This is another series of Dr.grip - 4+1 multipen.
Its soft grip and good writing inks made Dr.grip multipen famous around the world.
Obviously, this one has a clip, and it doesn't have a clear body.
