APIS COLLECTION PART.2

APIS COLLECTION PART.2 - SH-206 / SH-594 / SH-3000A / SH300N

아피스 - SH-206 / SH-594 / SH-3000A / SH300N

APIS SH-206

For your reference: about Apis company and the way Apis number its models.

This is a very vintage looking mechanical pencil of Apis.

APIS SH-206

The design is unique and antique.
The body is mainly red color metal and several parts are gold color metals.
Gold vertical lines are on all six edges, and there are two gold rings in the middle.

APIS SH-206

A sticker with its model name is attached on the clip, and the name Apis is also on it.
The mark below is the KS mark, Korean Industrial Standard, which has the same role as the famous Japan's JIS mark.

APIS SH-206

This design is really lovely.
I wonder how its fountain pen counterpart would look.
I'm not sure whether this design is original or copied from somewhere, but I hope it is original.

APIS SH-206

A warranty card.

APIS SH-594

Next model is SH-594 mechanical pencil.
The numbering of Apis is always confused.
What made Apis choose this specific number 594?
It has the mixture of gold and silver colors.

APIS SH-594

The silver color is glittering.
This is its charming point.
I saw ballpoint pen and fountain pen versions, and they share the same design.

APIS SH-3000A

This is Apis SH-3000A mechanical pencil.
This is the mechanical pencil version of F-3000 fountain pen.
Since F-3000 model belong to the same group with F-3100 model, it's no surprise they look similarly.
While 3100 models have horizontal stripe lines, 3000 models have check patterns.

Still, I don't know why it is 3000A model, not 3000 model.
What does A mean?

APIS SH-3000A

This check pattern reminds me of Parker's Sonnet pens.

APIS SH-300N

The last one is SH-300N mechanical pencil.
It is the normal version of 300G model.
As I said, G means gold and the normal version has metal color body in general.

This one has sticker on its body, unlike other Apis pens.

APIS SH-300N

It's just the color change, but this one and 300G model look really different to me.
Anyway, I prefer the gold version :)
